Bhadrak Autonomous College is a Government funded college. UGC is also funding the college for development activities.

It is linked to all parts of the country by NH No.5 and East Coast Railways.

Environment of the college is healthy and peaceful.

More than 50% of the faculty members have Ph.D. and other research qualification.s They are experienced and committed.

The students are serious in studies, disciplined and well behaved.

Admission process is transparent and just.

Flexibility in the choice of the subjects at the Undergraduates level.

Regular monitoring of the progress by the College Principal.

Continuous evaluation of students' progress through two Internal Tests held every year.

Result is consistently very good.

Remedial coaching for the slow learners and Guidance to the advanced learners.

Regular seminars in all departments.

A library well equipped with books and reprography facility.

A study centre for use of both students and teachers.

A well-furnished computer laboratory with state Govt. funding. Well equipped science laboratories with computer facilities.

Adequate infrastructure facilities including cooperative store, Post Office, Bank, Health Centre and Guesthouse.

Nine Hostels are providing accommodation to 27% students. Private messes are available out side for accommodation at reasonable price.

One IGNOU study centre is working in the college campus. Extension activities like NSS and youth Red Cross provide opportunity to the students for social service.

Reputed academicians are visiting the college to attend seminars and conferences.

A very cordial teacher-taught relationship is a major strength of this college.
